(1) The government of Nepal shall bear the entire fee for the electricity and water installed in the residence of the Speaker and the President, and the deposit and other expenses required to connect two telephone lines with one Internet, and the telephone fine.

(2) Other than the speaker and the chairman, the officials and members other than the government house will be provided a lump sum amount as per Schedule-1 for electricity, water, internet, including telephone fees and newspapers connected to such house.

(3) In the event that officials and members other than the speaker and the chairman cannot be provided with a government house, the government of Nepal will bear the bond and other expenses required to connect a telephone line including the internet to the residence where they live, and the electricity, current and telephone fees connected to such residence shall be borne by the sub-section (2) will be made available.

(4) In case of changing the residence of the office bearer or member, the connection cost of moving the telephone line will be borne by the Government of Nepal for a maximum of two times during one working term of the Federal Parliament.

(5) If the official or member who receives a telephone pursuant to this section does not remain a member of the Federal Parliament for any reason other than disqualification, he may retain the telephone within six months from the date of termination of membership, if he wishes, by paying the deposit amount required for connecting the said telephone line. p>
